I like most people use YouTube for their music source. The key things that I look-out for when picking my music
1. The quality. Listen to the quality of the track and look how old the track is, how long has it been on YouTube. Get yourself a good set of headphones.
2. Choose your YouTube download software. I use a program called "Human YouTube Downloader".
3. Converting your files into an audio format. = I convert mine into WAV (441000mhz) (CD quality) you can convert it to DVD (48000mhz) but you'd not hear the difference between them both.
4. You converter. What ever you use to convert your audio into an acapella. If you program offers you different methods of converting into acapella, try a couple of ways and listen to the end result and choose what method is best. The one method might not give you the same results for every song. This is down to the track and the way its been mastered and how the vocals are fixed on the track.
5. Finalizing your acapella. I have found that mastering the acapella before you convert it into WAV cleans up the track and gives the acapella a touch more quality. If your unsure of mastering there are some online tools that have mastering presets. You just upload your track and click a but to master it.
6. Converting your acapella into WAV is a must. Try and convert it into WAV (441000mhz).
