FL Studio for me. Think I watched a few tutorials for it and just kind of stuck with it. Used Cubase before which was also good. Also used Reaper for a bit but mostly for recording guitar and using virtual amplifiers.

For me, it has alwasy been FL Studio. Started using it when I was 13 years old and I just like the workflow of it. I've tried to use other DAWs but FL Studio just caught my attention.

Yeah, that's true and thank you for your contribution. I tried Ableton at first but didn't like the workflow there as it was mostly used for live performing and music production, which is a good thing but it took so much of my CPU that my laptop couldn't handle it with the plugins I own.

Fair enough... as long as you can produce your music and you have good rescouces then youre golden..  8)

I would say that produceres tend to use either Ableton or FL I would guess....

FL Studio for me - I started making beats when I was unemployed so the thought of lifetime free updates was too enticing to ignore. Now after years and years, moving just is too much effort!

Ableton here. I started many many years ago on Reason v3, then FL 4, then moved to Ableton at like version 4 also, I think. I really liked the warp function and back then, it was the only DAW to have this feature. It slowly took over as I was constantly moving back and forth between programs.
